Help with electric golf cart?
I have an electric golf cart. put new batteries, I have reloaded, but now it will not move when Clicking on the accelerator. It has a clicking sound coming from a valve in front of the axle back. All lights work, but move the ordinary. it would be possible? I forgot to mention that I have traced power all the way to the electric motor.
I am a golf cart mechanic for the Auto Club. It sounds to me your solenoid is bad. What is happening is no power across the solenoid. Depending on the year and brand. Older cars have four or five reels and each engauge higher speed. Account how many you have, if more than one, and you should hear a click for everyone that you press the accelorator below. They engauge the road side. When pressed, it seems that you have to press even more than before that is bad. If only one valve, put a voltmeter on the warm side of the solenoid, so general white wire, turn the car on and not in the accelorator. You must obtain the power of the terminal. If you do not have to be replaced.
