If you are a golfing beginner and you think you want to buy a set of clubs then you might wonder which set of clubs are best suited to beginners? Well of course there is no one answer as opinion will vary depending on who you speak to.
Buying a set of golf clubs is a very individual choice. When you are a beginner you don’t necessarily need the best set of clubs that money can buy. If you do buy a good set of golf clubs then they will last you a long time and you should get good use out of them providing you know you are going to play golf often.
There are plenty of big name brands available including Calloway, Titleist, TaylorMade, Ping, Nike and Mizuno amongst others. One thing you should focus on is that you get a set of clubs that is actually suited to a beginner. If you choose a set of professional clubs that are suited to players with low handicaps then you are only going to hinder your game. There is a reason that clubs are made for different standards of golfer and when you start the most helpful ones for your game are definitely the beginner clubs as they are more forgiving.
You also have the choice as to whether to buy brand new golf clubs or used, second-hand, pre-owned golf clubs, whatever you wish to call them. With the pre-owned clubs sold by the brand dealers themselves these are always checked and rated for their condition. You can select clubs in different price ranges that maybe have been used more than others. You can also buy ex-demo or shop-used clubs that may have never actually hit a golf ball so you could grab a bargain.
So really in summary, all of the good brands have clubs that are suited to beginners – some have more options available with different ranges but as long as you go for the beginner option in your price range then you will enjoy many rounds of golf with them.
